Employer: Remedy Education

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Pay: £97 - £120 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

Remedy Education is seeking a strong and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a large, multicultural Primary School in Forest Gate, Newham. You will be working with children who have high sensory and complex needs, providing one-to-one and small group support. The ideal candidate will be energetic, physically fit, and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Provide 1:1 and group support for children with high sensory needs
  • Assist pupils with complex behaviours and emotional regulation
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a SEN TA or Learning Support Assistant
  • Strong understanding of supporting children with sensory or physical needs
  • Confident in managing challenging behaviour in a positive manner
  • Reliable, proactive, and a great team player
