Overview

Remedy Education are currently looking for a SEN classroom assistant to provide classroom support within an SEN school. The SEN school has students ranging from mild to severe, with some being non-verbal, whilst others have difficulties communicating and/or understanding and are in need of extra support for the basic curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with Visuals, Makaton, PECS or Phonics would be excellent.
  • Students often require some personal care (toileting, dressing, feeding) – if this is something you are comfortable with, this would be preferred.

Requirements

  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS certificate to be considered for the role.
