Secondary – SEN Teaching Assistant

Remedy is pleased to share we are working alongside a brilliant Secondary School situated within the heart of Southwark who are looking for x3 Secondary SEN Teaching Assistants to join their fantastic team starting ASAP. Within this role, you will be presented with the opportunity to enhance and add value to the school\\\’s SEN pupil\\\’s day-to-day learning experience.

Within this role, you will be able to work alongside the onsite Therapists, Class teachers and SENCO to evaluate student performance, create tailored action plans and deliver personalised support sessions to enrich the pupil\\\’s learning process. The school is recognised for its wholehearted, whole-child approach to learning. So, within this role, you will need to be able to maintain an empathetic approach to learning to ensure the best results for the pupils.

Job Description

  • Secondary – SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Working alongside students across KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Providing dedicated in-class support for both the lead teacher and students
  • Hold effective 1:1 and group support sessions for SEN pupils
  • Supporting needs such as ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L and more
  • Working alongside Therapists, Class teachers and SENDCO regarding student progression
  • ASAP start
  • Full academic year – Full time – Term time only
  • Located within Southwark
  • Onsite Therapists and Psychologists to work alongside
  • Supportive and knowledgeable SENCO
  • Brillant transport links and onsite parking
  • Situated within the borough of Southwark
