School Administrator - Southwark
Location: Southwark, South East London
Salary: Β£15 - Β£16 per hour

Remedy is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established Primary school in Southwark to recruit an experienced and highly organised School Administrator for a Long term, full-time position starting ASAP.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated School Administrator to become a valued member of a friendly school community. As the School Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the school office while providing exceptional support to pupils, staff, parents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing attendance, admissions, and pupil records using SIMS, Arbor, or other school management systems.
- Providing comprehensive administrative support, including data entry, filing, document management, and correspondence.
- Acting as the first point of contact on reception, welcoming visitors, parents, staff, and external agencies.
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Supporting the Headteacher and wider administration team with the day-to-day running of the school.
- Assisting with school communications, newsletters, reports, and general office administration.
- Maintaining confidential records in line with GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
Requirements
To be considered for this School Administrator role, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a School Administrator within a primary or secondary school.
- Working knowledge of SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom (desirable).
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work efficiently in a busy school office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
