Salford City Council is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join the Mental Health team. The role will be based in the office at least three days per week and will work in two teams directly managed by the council, located with GMMH colleagues in the CMHT bases – Cromwell House CMHT and Ramsgate House CMHT.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on Care Act and s.117 duties, including adult safeguarding.
  • Collaborate with health colleagues within the team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Full registration with Remedy for all locum positions.
  • Successful completion of an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of vulnerable individuals.

Remuneration:

Hourly rates: £43.00-£45.00 per hour + depending on experience or £50.00-£52.00 per hour + depending on experience.
