Our client Rochdale Borough Council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Family Support and Protection team.
Rochdale Family Support and Protection Service need enthusiastic and committed Social Workers to come with us on a really exciting journey to support our transition into a new way of working. Rochdale is currently at the very start of an exciting transition into the family safeguarding model.
A manageable caseload of between 20 and 23 children. As the service develops and we get more workers, we aim to get caseloads to 17 to support you in engaging in real direct work with children and families.

Our agency workers are seen as an important resource for us and as such are given the same level of support and opportunities as our permanent staff. We are looking for an agency worker who has experience in child protection work and care proceedings.
Referral bonus - up to £250* per person placed.
You will be required to fully register with Remedy for all locum positions. Remedy Social Care is a APSCo Standard agency and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the vulnerable. Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
