We are currently seeking a supportive and engaging Maths and English Tutor to work with a Year 10 student in Thurrock (RM15). The role involves delivering personalised tuition in line with the student's EHCP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one Maths and English tuition to a Year 10 pupil
  • Deliver lessons tailored to the student's individual learning needs and EHCP outcomes
  • Support engagement, confidence and academic progress
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources appropriately
  • Maintain clear communication regarding progress and attendance
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements

  • Experience supporting secondary-aged students
  • Good knowledge of Maths and English at KS4 level
  • Experience working with EHCP students or additional needs is desirable
  • Patient, flexible and encouraging approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
