About the Role

This full-time Nursery Teacher position focuses on delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences in a nursery setting. The successful candidate will contribute to a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports early development and school readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons
  • Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with EYFS framework standards
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment where all children can thrive
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and leadership

Candidate Requirements

  • Has strong experience or training within Early Years / EYFS
  • Has experience as a Nursery Teacher if possible
  • Can commute to the Ellesmere Port area
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of child development and early learning
  • Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Is enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
  • Is dedicated to inclusive practice and raising attainment for all learners
