Our client Northamptonshire's Children's Trust is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their prevention and safeguarding team.
Key responsibilities:
- Assessing the needs and risks affecting children and families.
- Investigating safeguarding concerns, including neglect, physical abuse, emotional abuse, or sexual abuse.
- Developing and implementing child protection and child-in-need plans.
- Working closely with schools, health professionals, police, and other agencies.
- Supporting families to address difficulties early and improve outcomes for children.
- Attending case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings when required.
- Maintaining accurate case records and reports.
