Senior Early Years & Family Support Practitioner
Location: East London
Contract: Full-time
Remedy Education are currently looking for an experienced Senior Early Years & Family Support Practitioner to join a busy Children's Centre in East London , starting immediately.
This is not a standard nursery practitioner role . We are looking for someone experienced, confident and able to take responsibility from day one.
The role will involve working closely with children, parents and families , organising and delivering activities, carrying out outreach work and promoting the services available through the Children's Centre.
You will also work alongside health visitors, therapists, schools and other professionals , contributing to referrals, meetings and wider multi-agency support.
The role will include:
- Organising and delivering activities for children and families
- Providing support and guidance to parents and carers
- Carrying out family outreach and engagement
- Promoting Children's Centre / Family Hub services
- Supporting families with a range of needs
- Contributing to referrals, meetings and Early Help support
- Working effectively with health visitors, therapists, schools and other professionals
- Building strong relationships with children, families and partner agencies
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Children's Centres or Family Hubs
- Early Help
- Local Authority Children & Family Services
- Senior Early Years or Parenting Services
- Multi-agency working and family support
- Previous Children's Centre or Family Hub experience is strongly preferred.
This role would suit an experienced Family Support Practitioner, Children's Centre Practitioner/Coordinator, Early Help Practitioner, Outreach Worker or Family Hub Practitioner who is ready to take on a busy and varied role.
