Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant - Secondary SEN School - Lewisham
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Remedy are working with a large Secondary SEN school who are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with High needs, ASD, Challenging behaviour and PMLD.
The role:
- The role involves general classroom support as well as 1-1 support while working closely with colleagues in providing support outside of the classroom.
- Due to the needs of the students (SEMH, ASD, Complex Needs, SLD, MLD) it is essential that you have worked with special needs in some capacity.
- Working in these schools is incredibly rewarding. You have a chance to make a real difference in these children's lives but it's not always easy!
- You must be resilient, patient, adaptable, enthusiastic and confident in managing challenging behaviour.
