Remedy are recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a Secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the Greenwich area. This specialist provision supports primary-aged pupils who are unable to access mainstream education due to behavioural, social, emotional, or mental health needs. The setting offers small class sizes, high staff-to-pupil ratios, and a strong focus on nurturing, structure, and positive behaviour support.
This is a 1:1 position where you are needed to support a student in the mornings, then drop the student to their home address and then go back to the school and support in the classroom in the afternoons.
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Helping to maintain a calm, safe, and supportive learning environment
- Experience working with children with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or in a PRU/specialist setting (desirable)
