A successful, all-inclusive Secondary School is searching for a Learning Support Assistant (SEN) to join their friendly, supportive, and successful team. This amazing Learning Support Assistant role will require you to work with a year 8 child with various SEND/SEMH needs.

The ideal candidate for the Learning Support Assistant (SEN) role will be supporting a year 7 child in a 1:1 setting. We would be delighted to receive applications from those who have successfully graduated from university, studying Psychology, Education, or English Degree.

The ideal Learning Support Assistant (SEN):

  • Provide support to pupils with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs.
  • Work alongside a supportive, friendly, and determined inclusion staff.
  • Facilitate the differentiation of tasks for students.
  • Work with small groups or individual students on specific tasks.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN.
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour.
  • GCSEs (Including Maths or English).
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
