Commissioning Opportunity - Fixed Term (up to 12 months) We are seeking an experienced commissioner to join us for up to 12 months to help deliver key strategic priorities.
You will report to the Strategic Commissioning Manager for Children and Young People and would welcome applicants who have experience in the following areas: * Children's Social Care* Education / SEND* Adult Social Care Your focus area will be aligned to your existing expertise and strengths, allowing you to make an immediate and meaningful impact.
You will need to demonstrate: * Strong experience of commissioning in complex systems* The ability to effectively manage competing priorities.* A clear focus on delivering outcomes and tangible impact.
Working arrangements: Remote working is supported; however, there will be occasions where a presence in Gateshead is beneficial to support collaboration and delivery.
There is an expectation that candidates will be required to be on site, Civic Centre after the 1st of September 2026 for 2 days a week.
