We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Maths and English Tutor to support Year 11 pupils within a school setting in Bexleyheath (DA6). This role involves delivering targeted GCSE Foundation-level support to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored Maths and English tuition to Year 11 pupils
  • Support students working towards GCSE Foundation level
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual SEMH needs
  • Build positive relationships to encourage engagement and confidence
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and pastoral teams

Requirements
  • Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils, ideally Year 11
  • Strong understanding of GCSE Foundation Maths and English curriculum
  • Experience working with SEMH students or other additional needs is highly desirable
  • Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
