Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Finance & Administration Officer, supporting both their Bermondsey and Camberwell settings.

This is a varied role requiring one person who can provide Finance Support Monday to Wednesday, followed by Office Administration Support in Camberwell on Thursday and Friday.

The successful candidate will have previous finance experience and be confident managing financial administration, including purchase orders, invoices, petty cash, reconciliations, financial records, agency timesheets and general finance systems.

On Thursday and Friday, you will support the school office with reception duties, maintaining pupil and staff records, databases, correspondence, meeting notes, stock ordering and general administration. The role will also involve working closely with staff and supporting the smooth running of the school office.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous finance administration experience
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and databases
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous school or education experience is desirable

An enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate.
