Do you have experience supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
A specialist education setting is looking for three confident and resilient Behaviour Mentors to join their dedicated pastoral team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in an SEMH school, PRU, alternative provision, youth work, residential care or a similar environment.
The successful candidate will build positive relationships with pupils, provide 1:1 and small group support, help students regulate their emotions and work alongside teaching staff to remove barriers to learning.

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 mentoring and behaviour support
- Build strong relationships with students
- Support emotional regulation and engagement
- Use restorative and trauma-informed approaches
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff
- Record progress and safeguarding concerns
- Promote a safe and positive learning environment
The ideal candidate
- Previous SEMH, PRU or Alternative Provision experience
- Calm under pressure
- Resilient with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
