Remedy Tutors are looking for SEN experienced tutors and teachers who are seeking flexible and rewarding work with a suitable schedule in Dartford and surrounding areas.
This SEN tutor role involves:
- Working with children with SEN and providing face-to-face support to children with ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH or PMLD at their homes or a local centre (e.g., town hall, library or a centre).
- Planning lessons and resources around the student's needs, which could be in core subjects or life skills.
- Planning and delivering engaging sessions.
- Applying skills to raise pupils' confidence.
- Managing children with challenging behaviour.
- Tracking the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and providing monthly reports.
- Potentially engaging in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student and learning about visuals to communicate in some cases.
