We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced tutor to support students with autism. If you have a passion for helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their full potential, we want to hear from you!
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified tutor with relevant academic credentials and tutoring experience.
- Strong expertise in all core subjects (Math, English, Science, etc.).
- A patient, adaptable, and student-focused approach to teaching.
- Proven ability to identify and address individual learning needs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
This Tutor Role Involves:
- Planning lessons and resources tailored to the student's individual needs, including both core subjects and life skills.
- Delivering engaging sessions that foster academic growth and boost confidence.
- Applying effective strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
- Tracking and monitoring student progress to ensure they meet their desired learning outcomes.
- Providing monthly reports to assess student progress.
- Potentially engaging in outdoor activities, such as learning about plants and nature, to make learning interactive and fun.
- Utilising visual communication methods where appropriate to enhance learning.
