Our client Rochdale Borough council is looking for a Children's Team Manager to join their Youth Justice service. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB Responsible for:- Leadership, motivation, nurturing and management of Youth Offending Service, ensuring the service provided is effective and delivers positive outcomes. This includes: Ensuring that the Youth Offending Service meet the statutory requirements in respect of children in the criminal justice system. Ensuring that the Youth Offending Service are delivering interventions that impact on the reduction of re-offending Ensuring that the Youth Offending Service are providing an early help/prevention service that demonstrates an improvement on outcomes for young people by preventing them becoming First Time Entrants Managing performance and quality assurance, resources and budgets (in collaboration with other key stakeholders).
