Our client Bury council is looking for a Children's Advanced Practitioner to join their Family Safeguarding team.

  • Lead on complex safeguarding cases involving children at risk of harm.
  • Provide expert advice, guidance, and supervision to social workers.
  • Work under key legislation such as the Children Act 1989 and Children Act 2004.
  • Chair or contribute to child protection conferences and strategy meetings.
  • Liaise with multi-agency partners (police, schools, health services).
  • Ensure high-quality practice and compliance with safeguarding procedures.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
