Our client Suffolk County council is looking for a Children's Team Manager to join their Peripatetic team.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to provide additional management capacity across the West and North localities.

Similar in scope to a Practice Manager role, this position will play a key role in supporting operational delivery, strengthening leadership capacity, and providing stability during the implementation of a new service structure.

The successful candidate will work flexibly across teams, offering support where demand is highest and ensuring services continue to deliver positive outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide additional leadership and management capacity across the West and North teams.
  • Support teams experiencing high caseloads, staffing pressures, or sickness absence.
  • Help stabilise workloads and maintain effective service delivery during periods of increased demand.
  • Support teams through the implementation of the new organisational structure and associated changes.
