Our client Bolton council is looking for a Family Support Worker to join their Referral & Assessment team.
Main Duties
- To contribute to risk assessments and protecting children and young people from danger, harm, and abuse.
- To plan and record interventions effectively, to support and contribute to the overall assessment held by referring social care teams.
- To deliver quality interventions within the Framework for Action parenting capacity guidance.
- To offer support and evidence-based intervention around child development using EYFS (Early Years Framework Strategy) guidance and behaviour management strategies.
- To work in partnership with families on protection plans in their own home, where appropriate.
- To communicate and work with a range of professionals and agencies ensuring a seamless service for children and families, managing, and providing information to support effective decision-making.
- To work alongside social workers contributing to assessments and care plans.
