Full-Time Maths & English GCSE Tutor (SEMH)
Location: DA6, Bexleyheath
Hours: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Maths and English Tutor to support Year 11 pupils within a school setting in Bexleyheath (DA6). This role involves delivering targeted GCSE Foundation-level support to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored Maths and English tuition to Year 11 pupils
- Support students working towards GCSE Foundation level
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual SEMH needs
- Build positive relationships to encourage engagement and confidence
- Work collaboratively with school staff and pastoral teams
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback where required
- Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils, ideally Year 11
- Strong understanding of GCSE Foundation Maths and English curriculum
- Experience working with SEMH students or other additional needs is highly desirable
