Our client Liverpool city council is looking for a social work Advanced Practitioner to join their Fostering kinship team.
We are looking for a new social worker within Fostering Families Friends (Kinship) Assessment team, to specifically assess the suitability of relatives or close family friends to care for children/young people through viability / connected persons and Special Guardianship Order assessments.
Candidates must be an experienced Children's Social Worker in Fostering - specifically within Kinship Assessment, having completed SGO assessments previously and have strong knowledge of Children's relevant legislation, processes and frameworks, particularly in relation to Looked After Children and kinship to apply for the role The role includes; Providing high level of risk analysis and completion of detailed analytical Kinship assessments Regular statutory visits to all carers, undertaking high quality sessions, ensuring optimum safeguarding Making informed child centred decisions, applying critical reflection and analysis in complex cases Ability to meet demands of the service, producing consistent high quality work to good standard within set timescales and managing court deadlines Benefits of working with Remedy A personal one-one service from your highly experienced dedicated consultant.
