Blackpool Council is looking for an Adults Social Worker to join their Learning Disabilities team.
Key Requirements:
- 3 years references, gaps in employment history checked, any relevant qualifications as per JDPS.
- 2 Learning Disability Social Workers required (one for a 12‑week period and one for a 5‑week period).
- Experience as a safeguarding lead and coordination/carrying out safeguarding enquiries.
- Experience conducting assessments and reviews under the Care Act 2014.
Role Details:
Opportunity for qualified, experienced social workers to work in the learning disability team. Flexible working policy allows up to two days working from home and three days office based. The role may require covering duty which is an office based task.
