Our client Salford Council is looking for an Adults Advanced Practitioner to join their Front door services. About the Role As an Advanced Social Work Practitioner, you will provide professional leadership within the team, supporting high-quality strengths-based practice while ensuring statutory responsibilities are met. You will undertake complex assessments, support safeguarding enquiries, and work collaboratively with health and social care partners to deliver person-centred interventions. Alongside casework responsibilities, you will support the development of less experienced practitioners and assist the Team Manager in driving service improvement and practice excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work across both Early Help and Safeguarding, providing a varied and rewarding experience at the front door of Adult Social Care. Key Responsibilities Undertake complex Care Act assessments, reviews, and safeguarding enquiries. Support the delivery of strengths-based, person-centred interventions that promote independence and wellbeing. Provide professional advice, guidance, and mentoring to less experienced staff members. Complete supervision with allocated practitioners to support professional development and quality practice. Undertake case audits and case sign-off responsibilities to ensure safe and effective decision-making.
