Year 9 Tutor Required - Maths & English (Home Tuition)

Location: Newhaven, BN9

Hours: 2 hours per week

Pay: £25-£35 per hour

Start: Immediate

We are seeking an experienced tutor to provide one-to-one Maths and English tuition to a Year 9 boy in his home. Secondary school attendance currently under 50%.

Reading age: 6 years 2 months (last recorded 03/06/2024).

Requires a patient, structured and supportive approach.

  • Minimum 2 years' tutoring or teaching experience
  • Confident delivering KS3 Maths and English
  • Experience supporting students with low attendance and learning gaps preferred
  • Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
  • Available to start immediately
