The post holder will ensure Lambeth Council meets both statutory and non-statutory fire safety responsibilities in relation to legislation and associated building regulations. They are responsible for the overall management of clear, consistent and quality fire safety management on a strategic and operational level. They will develop strong working relationships with relevant consultants, service providers, in house staff, external agencies (including the London Fire Brigade) and residents. They will be qualified to make decisions and recommendations in relation to the quality of incoming FRAs to the Head of Compliance. The post holder will provide a professional advisory service working across Departments and the Capital team to provide clear, consistent and quality fire safety management, repairs and improvements, on a strategic and operational level to all housing stock.
