Develop and manage the Council's strategic approach to asset management through detailed maintenance and analysis of asset data and ongoing consultation activities with staff and residents.
Lead on the implementation of the Asset Management Strategy, being accountable and responsible for establishing, implementing, reviewing and revising plans which translate strategy and priorities into delivery.
Making presentations as required to internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and maintain a robust assessment of the performance of all property assets maximising return on investment to include financial, social and environmental aspects.
Oversee the development of a grading system of asset risks to inform an active asset management approach for decisions on the redevelopment, investment, change of tenure, new provision and disposals.
Be accountable to the Housing Committee, the Chief Executive, and the Executive Management Team for the work of the Asset Management, Building Safety and Compliance Commissioning teams and produce and present reports as required.
Work with appropriate directors and management team in delivering change management, cultural change and ongoing reviews of service development, working closely with colleagues across the business to establish and support the 'golden thread' approach required.
Management of all aspects of Landlord Services planning, strategy, and governance, including maintaining the HRA business plan, service user involvement, strategy and policy development.
The strategic development of and performance monitoring for Service Level Agreements.
Leadership of the Building and Fire Safety strategic functions.
