Full Time working from home (Hybrid working possible in the Civic Centre) £278.32 per day - rate to be confirmed Purpose of the Role: This position involves providing a comprehensive service to enable the Local Authority (LA) to fulfil its statutory duties in relation to the assessment of pupils with special educational needs by ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of statutory procedures and the appropriate placement and ongoing provision arrangements for Enfield residing pupils both inside and outside the LA area To undertake the statutory needs assessment process of a needs request and the issuing of EHC Plans (where agreed), in accordance with The Children and Families Act 2014 and SEN Code of Practice January 2015 (or updated version thereafter). Ensure that the education, health and care needs assessment is undertaken within statutory timeframes, information is recorded correctly and appropriately on databases/systems and records are kept up-to-date and accurate.
