They are looking for strong, experienced Teaching Assistants who will not simply do the bare minimum, but will go above and beyond to make a genuine difference to the lives of these children.

The role:

  • Supporting students with severe autism and complex needs
  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support
  • Helping students develop their communication, social and life skills
  • Supporting with sensory activities and creative learning
  • Managing challenging behaviour calmly and confidently
  • Providing personal care when required
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff

The ideal candidate:

  • Has previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN
  • Is active, energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Is confident supporting challenging behaviour
  • Is patient, resilient and caring
  • Is reliable and committed to the role
  • Is willing to go above and beyond for the students
