Are you a Psychology graduate interested in gaining practical experience working with children and young people?specialist educational setting in Southwark is looking for a Psychology Graduate to join their team as a Teaching Assistant.
This Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant role in Southwark is particularly suited to graduates considering careers in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Child Psychology, SEN or mental health.
You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them develop their confidence, communication, emotional regulation and engagement with learning. You'll gain valuable experience understanding how individual needs can impact behaviour, learning and development within a specialist setting in Southwark.
The Role - Psychology Graduate, Southwark
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support
- Develop positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Support emotional wellbeing and engagement
- Assist with learning and classroom activities
- Work alongside teachers and specialist support staff
- Help pupils overcome barriers to learning
Who We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with Psychology graduates who are passionate about working with children and young people. An interest in Clinical or Educational Psychology would be particularly relevant, although previous experience in education is not essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build practical experience in Southwark while working towards a future career in psychology, education or SEN.
£100-£117 per day, paid weekly, with the opportunity to move into a temp to perm position.
