About the Role

We are seeking a Hungarian-Speaking SEN Tutor to deliver personalised one-to-one early years outreach tuition to a Hungarian Student for 10 hours a week. This role is ideal for a tutor who is passionate about supporting young people who may be struggling to access mainstream education due to additional learning needs, SEND, school anxiety, or other barriers to education. You will deliver engaging and highly individualised tuition programmes designed to help students re-engage with learning, rebuild confidence, develop essential skills, and make meaningful academic progress. Most referrals involve approximately 10-15 hours of tuition per student per week, generally delivered during school hours, although flexibility may be required depending on the individual learner and referral. This is an outreach-based role, so tuition may take place in a learner's home, community setting, or another suitable agreed location.

About the Students

The students you support may have a range of additional needs and barriers to education, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Dyslexia
  • Dyscalculia
  • Speech and Language Difficulties
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs
  • School anxiety
  • Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
  • Previous disengagement from mainstream education
  • Gaps in learning or difficulties accessing the curriculum

You will need to be confident adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of each learner and creating a calm, supportive environment where they can feel safe and successful.
