A large Secondary SEN school is seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and dynamic team to start ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to make a real difference in the lives of children while building valuable skills for future career pathways such as educational psychology, teaching, or speech and language therapy.

Key Responsibilities as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Support children with a variety of special educational needs in both 1:1 and group settings
  • Help implement personalised learning plans designed by the class teacher and SENCo
  • Encourage and promote inclusion and independence among pupils
  • Adapt learning materials and activities to meet each student's individual needs
  • Work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and families to support student progress

  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic graduate with a genuine interest in SEN
  • A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is highly desirable
