A well led and supportive Primary School in the London Borough of Lewisham are looking to recruit an Early Years Teaching Assistant/ Nursery Nurse for either September or October 2026. This is a full time & long term role till at least July 2027. Term time only.

  • Full Time - Monday to Friday (8:30am to 3:45pm)
  • Β£100- Β£120 per day
  • Excellent education and training available
  • Local to station

Early Years Teaching Assistant /Nursery Nurse - Your Role:

  • Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
  • Hours: 8:30am to 3:45pm
  • Working across Nursery & Reception - school setting
  • Carrying out Phonics, Spelling, Reading & Writing Activities
  • Creating a fun and engaging environment that's safe
  • Assisting with general classroom duties
  • Supporting mild SEN when needed
  • Providing 1:1 and group booster sessions

Early Years Teaching Assistant /Nursery Nurse - Ideal Candidate:

  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 CACHE Qualification in Childcare/ Supporting Teaching & Learning
  • Or hold a Level 6 or degree within childcare or education
  • Have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Have school based experienced ideally or have experience within private nurseries
  • Have an enthusiasm about working in EYFS and with children
  • Work well as a team
  • Good communication
