Behaviour Mentor (SEMH)

Location: Enfield
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: Β£100 - Β£130 (based on experience)
Hours: Full-time | 8:30am - 3:45pm
Contract: Long-term

Remedy Education is working with a welcoming and creative SEMH primary school in Enfield that's looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to help children overcome barriers, build confidence, and thrive in a supportive learning environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs

  • Supporting students with Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs)

  • Using a calm, child-centred approach to manage challenging behaviour

  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom experience

  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and the pastoral team

  • Tracking pupil progress and contributing to behaviour reports

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a primary or SEN school setting

  • A strong background supporting children with SEMH or behavioural challenges

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A calm, proactive, and empathetic approach

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
