Job Overview

Our Client, Bolton Council is looking for a Childrens Team Manager to join their Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities and Managerial Duties

• Manage one of the six safeguarding teams of six social workers.
• Progress permanence plans for children, including children subject to child protection plans, children in need, care proceedings, and adoption.
• Demonstrate understanding and evidence of working in childrens safeguarding service.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing social workers.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of child care law and practice.
• Evidence-based practice in children\’s social care.
• Knowledge and evidence of management.

Position Details

• Full-time role – 37 hours per week.
• Free on-site parking.
• References will be requested for any candidates.
