Immediate 3rd Shift Temp-to-Hire Experienced Welder Jobs in Carlisle, IA!

Starting Pay:$21.00-$25.00/ hour (DOE)

Hours:6:00pm-6:00am (Monday – Thursday) *Ability to train on days 2-4 weeks

Duties:

  • Monitor inventory and submit orders as needed
  • Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting as needed
  • Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts
  • Fasten structural steel members to hoist cables, using chains, cables, or rope
  • Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, or welding equipment
  • Fabricate metal parts, such as steel frames, columns, beams, or girders
  • Measure, cut and bend rebar
  • Quality assurance of work pieces for defects

Requirements:

  • 2-year trade school preferred or equivalent experience (4 years)
  • Stick and wire welding experience
  • Welding certificate
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Position could involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold
