Immediate 3rd Shift Temp-to-Hire Experienced Welder Jobs in Carlisle, IA!
Starting Pay: $24.00-$27.00/ hour (DOE)
Hours: 6:00pm-6:00am (Monday – Thursday)
*Ability to train on days 2-4 weeks
Duties:
- Monitor inventory and submit orders as needed
- Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting as needed
- Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts
- Fasten structural steel members to hoist cables, using chains, cables, or rope
- Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, or welding equipment
- Fabricate metal parts, such as steel frames, columns, beams, or girders
- Measure, cut and bend rebar
- Quality assurance of work pieces for defects
Requirements:
- 2-year trade school preferred or equivalent experience (4 years)
- Stick and wire welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Position could involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold
