The school is looking for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of varying abilities and helping them build confidence in their mathematical understanding. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Maths Teacher looking for a long-term position within a supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4. Adapt teaching methods to support students of different abilities and learning needs. Prepare students for GCSE examinations, helping them develop strong mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback. Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and academic achievement. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation. Work closely with the Maths department and wider teaching staff to support student development. Contribute to lesson planning, assessments and departmental activities. The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Previous experience teaching Maths within a secondary school. Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4. Confident delivering engaging and differentiated lessons. Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills. Ability to support students with varying academic abilities and additional learning needs. Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
