Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Social Science to join a well-regarded secondary school in South West London from September 2025. This is a long-term temporary contract running until the end of the academic year.

We are looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge who can confidently deliver engaging lessons across a range of Social Science subjects (such as Sociology, Psychology, and/or Health & Social Care) at KS4 and KS5.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Social Science subjects
  • Create an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment to support a range of learners
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress
  • Contribute to the wider curriculum and school life as part of a supportive faculty team
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and student engagement
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - or willingness and eligibility to apply for QTS if successful at interview
  • Experience teaching Social Science subjects in a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills and a student-centred approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for the Social Sciences and inspiring young minds
