Speech and Language Therapist (Part Time, SEN School) Location: Brent School type: SEN school, ages 7-16 Remedy Education is proud to be working with a new SEN school in Brent to appoint an experienced Speech and Language Therapist. This is a part-time role within a small, supportive team where you\’ll have the chance to make a real difference. The school supports pupils aged 7-16 who are all verbal, largely independent, and diagnosed with autism. Some pupils may present with behavioural needs, but small class sizes allow for a highly individualised and focused approach. As the school is in its early stages of development, this is a unique opportunity to help shape its provision from the ground up. The role will involve: Planning and delivering tailored speech and language programmes. Working closely with teachers and support staff to embed communication strategies across the school day. Monitoring progress and providing feedback for staff, parents, and other professionals. Offering guidance and training to colleagues to ensure strategies are consistent and effective. We are looking for someone who: Holds a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy. Has experience supporting children and young people with autism. Can demonstrate strong clinical reasoning and the ability to set measurable goals. Is empathetic, resilient, and confident in supporting pupils with additional needs.
