We are seeking committed and experienced SEN Tutors to provide tailored support to young people across Selby. This is a highly rewarding role offering the opportunity to positively influence both the academic progress and emotional wellbeing of students with Special Educational Needs.

Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored tutoring sessions to students who may have a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, ASD and other profiles.
- Ensure the pupils feel safe and secure, ensuring their well-being.
- Build positive and professional relationships with students and families.
- Support students' confidence, emotional regulation, and engagement with learning.
- Track the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and provide monthly reports to parents and/or teachers.
Requirements
- UK recognised teaching qualification.
- Demonstrable experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Sessions are arranged around your availability, offering genuine flexibility alongside meaningful work.
