About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate tutor to support a Year 10 student in Maths and English. The student is based in Southend-on-Sea and presents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and anxiety. The ideal tutor will be patient, adaptable, and experienced in supporting students with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 tuition in Maths and English, aligning with the Year 10 curriculum

Adapt teaching styles and resources to suit the student\βs individual learning needs

Create a calm, supportive learning environment that promotes confidence and engagement

Work collaboratively with parents/carers to ensure consistent progress and support

Track and report on the student\βs progress, adapting plans where necessary
Requirements:

Experience working with young people with ASD, ADHD, and anxiety is essential

Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths at KS4 level

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience is preferred
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
