We are working with a large, inclusive primary school in Lambeth with a well-established resource base supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD and challenging behaviour. They are looking for a friendly, upbeat, and energetic Teaching Assistant to join their resource base at the beginning of the next academic year (September 2026). The Teaching Assistant role involves supporting pupils in small groups and occasionally on a 1:1 basis, helping them access learning and daily routines in a nurturing and structured environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years and special education who thrives in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Pay Rate: 110 - 125 per day (subject to experience and qualifications). This role is full-time and during school hours.
Responsibilities include:
- To plan and deliver learning activities to children and young people, differentiating, modifying and using specialist activities and approaches according to children or young people's responses/needs.
- To support students with SEMH, ASD and challenging behaviour to fulfil their academic potential.
- To support all pupils, and particularly those with SEN, to play a full role in the life of the school, building their confidence and self-esteem.
