About the Role:
Remedy Education is seeking a strong and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a large, multicultural Primary School in Forest Gate, Newham. You will be working with children who have high sensory and complex needs, providing one-to-one and small group support. The ideal candidate will be energetic, physically fit, and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Provide 1:1 and group support for children with high sensory needs
- Assist pupils with complex behaviours and emotional regulation
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a SEN TA or Learning Support Assistant
- Strong understanding of supporting children with sensory or physical needs
- Confident in managing challenging behaviour in a positive manner
- Reliable, proactive, and a great team player
