Are you a Sports Graduate or Sports Coach who enjoys working with SEN children? Remedy are recruiting candidates with a sports or coaching background and has SEN experience to work within a large SEN Secondary school on a full-time basis starting ASAP.

Your experience coaching children can transfer extremely well into a school environment. Whether you've worked in grassroots sport, school sports programmes, clubs, holiday camps or community coaching, this could be an opportunity to use your existing skills while developing your career within education.

The role can involve supporting pupils in the classroom alongside your ability to bring your sporting experience into PE, physical activity and extracurricular provision.

The Role Could Include:

  • Supporting pupils within the classroom
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support
  • Assisting teachers with learning activities
  • Supporting PE and physical activity
  • Running or assisting with sports activities
  • Supporting pupils during breaktimes and lunchtime
  • Encouraging teamwork, confidence and positive behaviour
  • Supporting pupils with SEND where required
  • Helping children develop social and communication skills

We’re Looking For:

  • Sports-related degree, qualification or relevant coaching experience
  • Experience coaching or working with children
  • Confident communication skills
  • Positive and energetic approach
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils
  • Patient and adaptable approach
  • Genuine interest in developing a career within education
  • Experience working within a UK school, youth setting or children’s sports environment would be advantageous.
