Remedy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN - Primary Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic about supporting KS1 pupils. This role can be quite challenging as you will be working with challenging behaviour; we expect you to use safeguarding techniques and various SEN strategies to aid this pupil academically. You will collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
- Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
