What the Role Involves :

  • Teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, MLD, speech & language needs, and social / emotional needs
  • Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet pupils\’ individual EHCP targets
  • Working closely with the SENCO, class teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a consistent and holistic learning approach
  • Leading small groups and 1 : 1 interventions where required
  • Creating a warm, structured, and supportive classroom where every child feels safe and valued
  • Monitoring progress, updating records, and maintaining strong communication with parents
  • Contributing to personalised strategies and behaviour plans
